Born on June 09, 1970, in Kherson, Ukraine, Natalia Pliss is an accomplished artist.  She earned her Master's degree in Art and Graphic Design from Ushinskiy South Ukrainian National Pedagogic University, Odessa, in 2004. Since 2002, she has actively exhibited her work in municipal, regional, and international art exhibitions, plein-airs, and symposiums. In 2008, Natalia became a member of the National Artists' Union of Ukraine.

From 2008 to 2011, she served as the Head of the Fine Arts Department and a lecturer at Ushynskyi South Ukrainian National Pedagogic University in Sevastopol. Since 2016, she has held the position of Associate Professor in Painting and Drawing at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. In 2020, she was honored with the title of "People's Artist of Ukraine" for her outstanding contributions to the world of art.

Natalia has participated in over 80 regional, all-Ukrainian, and international exhibitions, including seven solo exhibitions and eleven international ones. Her works are featured in prestigious institutions and private collections in Ukraine and abroad, including the Kroshytsyi Sevastopol Art Museum, Vereshchahin Mykolaiiv Regional Art Museum, Mariupol Museum of Modern Art, Kyiv Museum of Modern Art, and Kmyt Museum of Modern Art.

Natalia Pliss is known for her exquisite portrayal of the multicolored beauty of Crimea and her bold landscapes. Her work combines a realistic approach with a romantic view of nature. She captures the endless expanse of the Crimean landscape, the majesty of the mountains, the sea, and the sky. Natalia's paintings reflect the vibrant essence of Crimea, following in the tradition of the "Odessa School of Painting."

Her artistic journey is a form of meditation, an opportunity to observe nature and immerse herself in its wonders. Her paintings are a testament to her creative understanding of art.
